Calendar inspired by the Wheel of the year
In this workshop, we will create a perpetual calendar inspired by the Wheel of the Year, using repurposed materials such as cardboard, in a gesture of care for the Earth and appreciation for sustainability.
This is an invitation to slow down, create with your hands and heart, and reconnect with the natural cycles and the calm, profound rhythm of the Alentejo region.
Description and Content
In this workshop you will create a perpetual calendar inspired by the Wheel of the Year using recycled cardboard, natural and recyclable materials. We will transform waste into a symbolic piece, celebrating conscious creativity, manual work, and connection to the earth.

Brief introduction about who I am and my project;

Context about sustainability, upcycling, slow design, and alternative materials;

Practical session: exploration of materials and handcrafted creation of a cardboard wheel-of-year calendar, using available reusable materials;

Closing with sharing and clarification of doubts.
MATERIAL
All materials are included.
Each participant should bring only a water bottle for hydration.
WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?
For the general public interested in sustainability, visual arts and upcycling.
Students, designers or creatives who want to go offline, work with their hands and leave digital design aside for a few hours.

Registrations are accepted in order of registration.
CANCELLATION: The workshop may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not reached; in this case, the amount will be refunded.
